Many area families face difficulties in finding appropriate childcare, particularly in a multicultural setting. The result is a patchwork of care arrangements, few of which contribute to the best development of the children. In response, we at Primeros Pasos believe that our community needs:
- Affordable, quality early education and childcare for children of all ages
- Education for young parents to give support of child development and parenting skills and
- Services for young working families with limited support systems
Volunteer Your Time
Primeros Pasos seeks enthusiastic, interested and knowledgeable individuals as volunteers. If you are ready to become engaged in an organization committed to nurturing children and families, please call us at 302-856-7406.
Make a Donation
Providing quality education is expensive! For every dollar of tuition we receive, we must raise another 75 cents. Please help defray our programming costs and donate now to our on going operating fund.
Contribute Supplies
We are always in need of educational toys, books and consumable supplies. Some examples include (but are not limited to) the following: paper, pencils, pens, crayons, paints, brushes, age appropriate musical tapes/cd’s, books, and videos, magnifying glasses, magnets, scissors, paste, glue, chalkboard, paper clips, staples, tape, clay, play dough, soap, paper towels and food items.
